Sal Brinton

Vince Q&A in Watford on 7th January POSTPONED

12.01.00pm GMT Thu 31st Dec 2009

Sal Brinton and Vince Cable MP

Letter from Sal:

Following heavy snow fall overnight & during the day today, and with further snow and ice predicted for this evening and tomorrow, I am sorry to say that we have received advice that we should postpone Vince Cable's visit to Watford tomorrow (Thursday 7 January). The decision was made in consultation with the Watford and West Herts Chamber of Commerce and Beechen Grove Church, and we are sorry to have to disappoint so many people.

The police advice today is not to travel unless it absolutely necessary, and this is likely to continue for a day or two. As a result, we felt that cancellation was our only option.

I am discussing with Vince Cable's office to try to rearrange this session as soon possible.

We would like to apologise for any disappointment caused, and we will let you know as soon as we have a future date. In the meantime, I hope you are keeping safe and warm!
