Hands off our Hospital!

I am sure that you were as shocked as I was to hear that that Mike Penning MP, the Conservative Shadow Health Minister, has said development on our new hospital will be put on hold should the Conservatives win the next general election.

Mayor Dorothy Thornhill and I remain totally committed to the new Watford Health Campus and we have both personally been involved in ensuring that Watford and South Hertfordshire have a state of the art hospital that we need.

This would be disastrous for everyone if the new hospital is cancelled. It must not be stopped now and we will continue to fight to make sure that our new hospital goes ahead.
